for the record, I'd totally be down for a Vegas or gambling themed challenge.
I'd list my "work" here, but I don't know how to hyperlink. "Career" Highlights -2, count em, 2 credits on my IMDB page. -One time a fairly prominent producer e-mailed me back. -I have made more than $1000 with my writing! -I've won 2 mugs... and a thong. (polaroids of me in thong available for $10 through PM)@vc_wg - because I crave attention

I'm so curious about Carson's review of loglines that I can't keep still. Will it affect our voting if we saw them though - it's just a title and logline. But, yeah, don't pay attention to me)

That's why I'm not posting those until after your voting deadline.

Thanks Libby. I think my logline was pretty good, so I am interested to see what they thought. I think that I might get good scores for originality but get low on execution. I am dying to talk about my story but am waiting. I will say this, not one person picked up on my hidden clues or Easter eggs. That tells me that in the future, I really need to simplify things. You know what's odd? Years ago, I took a theater writing class and was dinged for not having a deep enough vocabulary. Now, cue 30 years later and people have dinged my script for having words they don't know and how a reader might toss a script aside if there are too many words they don't understand. It's crazy. I do think I have a decent story. However, my favs were the ones I listed above. There were some outstanding entries. Any idea who wrote what? Sadly, a few did correctly guess mine. I guess I have a pretty distinctive style, but I don't really understand what that is. Since I submitted it, I've had a ton of ideas on making it better. Dan

Dan, I'm almost positive which one is yours. I also know a few others, but the vast majority, I don't know. For me, there are 2 winners, and it's a pretty simple choice, as most of these got very low marks from me.

I'd second that. Wanted another read of it, shame it's gone

Voted. No excellents, but a few Very Good's: The 5th Horseman For Honey or Gold Perseverance A Toast To Armageddon Play Dead The rest fell below the mark. Great challenge. Can't wait to see who wrote what and how all did. Good luck!
