I haven't written anything in a while, been unwell and real life has been throwing me curve-balls. Yesterday I wrote two pages of a new short script and it felt AWESOME but I'm so rusty. I need this OWC so going to try my best to get in on this action. Bring it on!

It's going to be a horror that is for sure, I'm just hoping it is a horror about pumpkin spiced lattes.

Hey Don, I hope you give us some extra days in the reading period, as usual. For those trying to handle the batch and write reviews for possibly 35+ in 7 days - can be hard. A few extra days relax things a bit.

Alex,

I might.  I'm trying to do something 'fancy' for this OWC. Which would require each participant to read five scripts and rank them.  If this 'fancy' thing falls through, then I'll give extra time to read.   Also, regardless, you'd have two full weeks to read before writer's names are revealed.

Okay, exciting. I like that you're doing changes, juggle with some of the content of your page and search for new and fresh philosophy and identity. See you there.

WOOHOO!  Very, very excited!

I've been away on business since last Thursday and I don't get home until late Thursday, but I will DEFINITELy...and I repeat, DEFINITELY be entering this one.  No excuses.  Whatever the challenge, this Kid is in, and I will be bringing my A game.

I'm hoping the parameters won't be too tight and we'll be free free set me free to write as we feel.

See you all in thsi year's annual Hallow...wait...can we say Halloween this time?

I learned a lot from the August OWC and I'm loaded for bear! The suspense waiting on theme/genre is killing me.

What we do for a crappy mug!

No mention of Halloween allowed;2 mimes have to be in wheelchairs but only one can be set on fire; one of the mimes has to be a Rams fan; the third person killed has to be from Florida and be a Beatles fan; and finally at the end we have to see some maniac named Jeff kneel with Kap

Well if this is going to have a NFL flavor to it then I'll have to get in. I'm a Detroit Lions fan and they've been a horror story for decades.

Great changes Don! I am going to try to participate. After shooting the little horror film with Pia ...I've got the bug again. Motivated (I think).

This constitutes a binding contract and you have to participate regardless of the theme and genre...

And looking for new reviewers and reviewees.

I'd like to stick with The Writer's Choice.  Not sure I have time to come up with a voting system for a "Reader's Choice" that can't be gigged...

I will take it under consideration.
