I never fully understood her stories, but there was something poetic in them.
.

I agree - I never had a clue what she was on about, but I felt she cared a lot about it, whatever it was

Maybe because I'm a lover of poetry, I have found Sandra's stories to be my most favorite of all.

Are people genuinely struggling with this one? Or is it all just a ploy to throw everyone off haha.

Maybe it’s just me, and maybe it’s just that this played straight into my genre and the way my sick mind works but I honestly wish I could have entered more scripts, I reckon I could have pumped out at least 3 for this challenge.

Then again, maybe I wrote the biggest hunk of junk that will get ripped when the comments start, but I’m feeling good about it.

Mine is not good simply because I am horrible at shorts. Pia has refused to share her secrets with me!

Picked my fairy tale. Not sure if it's the best choice, but sorting through so many options was an ordeal, so I went with the one that felt the most workable in a week's time. Mapped out something simple and direct (hopefully). Gonna start writing tonight. Couldn't be worse than my entry for the April challenge.

Got my 'Eureka' moment... ask my 12 year old daughter lol
Me  "I need a twist on a fairytale"
Daughter "What if you... "
Me " I like it... now go to bed"
Daughter "Do I get credit?"
Me  "Nope, I'll wake you up if I'm stuck"

And so it begins

Draft 3, and I think I'm ready. This was more of a trim than the Friday the 13th of a rewrite/"trim" I did for Draft 2.

Draft 3 is quite polished, flows well, and amps up the horror and tension.

Yeah, I'm ready.

Good luck to everybody!

Finished mine. To quote Hillary, it's deplorable. Will submit later...I have to go back first and break some rules, screw up some slugs or something. My favorite part.

I've found it near impossible to come up with anything.

I can't see an angle on any of them that brings something new or worthwhile.

I'm out. I'll still read, though.

Welcome back, Kevin.  I've got to be about as rusty as they come, with only 1 short script written in the last year and a half.

I've had to try and explain a $3,500 business expense report, including 2 days of golf, which somehow got approved, so now I'm ready to try and write.  Problem is, the fairy tale I chose seems to require alot more than 10 pages, so I may be fucked.

BUT,as promised, shit or not, I will be entering something.

That was my big problem, as usual...too many scenes, too many elements, too complicated a story.

But glad to be back in the game.

Now, to go add some unfilmable for you...

I had a simple story but added several scenes and complicated it. Well, hopefully.
