This is to keep track of who have been bestowed with the Crappy Mug.  Originally it was given to Cindy, Phil and Pia for placing in a contest many years ago.  Now they are awarded for being 'Writer's Choice' in OWCs (Though some were awarded for Meritorious Service). If anyone can help fill in gaps I may have, please let me know.

Note: The "Crappy Mug" may be substituted for a thong, t shirt, mask or other item at the whim and discretion of the 'establishment'.

Although I was extremely grateful for my OWC award of an iScript reading back in '09, I secretly longed for the crappy mug.

Daren Tomalin was The open casket

I think Kevin's was Of Mice and Monsters, but he will be able to confirm

Can't remember Dena's it was probably for most entries ever in an OWC

I think mine was for "One of God's Special Children"????

Dena received hers for secretly submitting 11 entries in that OWC, and all being written in different font.

Who is Simon Mapp?

I pump this crappy site everywhere I go...

But does that warrant me a crappy mug?

Noooooooooooooooooooooo.......

Just the occasional ban for my horrible behavior.

Congrats to those who have one.

Must be nice to be one of the teachers pets.

I've added names to the "Order of the Crappy Mug" listings.  Small changes this year:

1)  Writer's Choice is changed to Writers' Choice since I feel the chosen script is chosen by all the writers and 'writers's' looked funny.
2) The Writers' Choice gets a personalized mug regardless of how many Crappy Mugs they may have gotten in the past.
3) Runner up gets a non-personalized Crappy Mug only if he/she hasn't received one in the past. If the runner up already has a Crappy Mug he/she may received something else and the Crappy Mug may go to the next runner up.

You can see pictures of crappy mugs here:
http://www.simplyscripts.net/cgi-bin/Blah/Blah.pl?b-Chat/m-1320532982/s-all/

If you have a picture of your Crappy Mug, please send it to me.

Bill, get your mind out of the gutter. You don't wear it...It's a slingshot. Geesh. It's festive. You fill it with nuts...or berries, and sling them into people's mouths. Perfect for the upcoming holidays.

Bill,

Apologies for the double image.  Not sure what happened.

Just got back from a Washington DC/Philadelphia trip. Leaving for Hawaii in the next few days. BUT - the most exciting part was the two packages I found when I got home - a SS MUG and a SS THONG to boot (Thanks, Don!).

The next morning when my wife came downstairs the first thing she saw was me proudly sipping coffee from my new mug adorned only in my new thong. She said if she ever saw me wearing the thong again she would leave me.

....We had a good run.

<--- Is this enough evidence for ya?

By the way, the note got lost in the down-rez. It reads "Pics or it didn't happen."

Edit: I changed the picture. The "happen" is still a little hard to read, but whatever.

I got the package and believe it's a mug. I haven't opened it yet.

Can't take pics tomorrow though because I'm a little sick right now, but I'm thinking Wednesday or something I'm gonna embarrass myself big time. I'm thinking of going full Monty with it.

Oh, I'm not going to be embarrassed by the way, but you'll be embarrassed for me. Poor you.
