Hey everyone.

Dena and I are planning two more shorts this fall for Halloween. I think we have the Pumpkin Nightmare 3 figured out, but we would also like to shoot a second short. A clown short. With IT coming out in September, we want to have our own clown script ready.

We've both written clown scripts in the past, but none of them will fit for a simple easy to shoot film. So...do any of you fine SS members have any ideas for a short clown script? Any genre, but easy to shoot. Twists are preferred. If you have  great idea and we decide to use it, you will definitely be credited.

Thanks SS members!

Hey Pia, just wanted to chime in a small bit. I would offer the Mannequin since it was based off the urban legend, the clown statute. You can change the mannequin to the clown. Anyway, good luck and can't wait to see it.

How about a clown is afraid that there's something in her closet and it turns out to be an IRS agent or a fat fingered proctologist.  You know...something REALLY scary.

Sorry for the tardy reply. Been traveling today and just now finding some time for myself.

Link? I know I read it a long time ago.

I hear you and the IRS thing is a really scary thing.

A short I assume. What genre?

I believe so. Got some great ideas offered, but it has to be something we can shoot on a weekend. In other words, not too many characters and ideally a single location.

Thanks everyone.

I do too. Do you have one? If you do, send it over. Unless you wouldn't want us to touch it of course!

No, don't have one  - was just offering up the idea for you to use (when I read your post "tears of a clown" came to my head - i.e., therapy).

Update.

We have decided to skip the pumpkin one this year and instead do a clown short and a time loop short.

Thanks to eldave and Khamanna, we have a pretty good idea for the clown film. You both will be credited for your ideas. Sorry Dave, but it's not a rom-com...

Extra points if you do a time loop clown short. Title: No Laughing Anti-Matter.
