I hope you didn't forget to vote!

I'm a silent elector due to my job, but I was at my local polling place today supporting the party of my preference (hopefully as noninvasively as possible).

Yay democracy!

Yep, voted!
I hope those Liberals get trounced! Such a misnomer using the word Liberal for a party of elite, capitalist, rich get richer, poor get poorer party.

Best leave it at that, eh.

The word 'democracy' is a misnomer.

Haha, LC. I live in a seat currently held by the Greens, so the polling place I was at was filled with LNP hawkers who were so pushy. It's crazy.

Shorten really just shouldn't have been Shorten. Unfortunately, lots of people still vote based on the party leader's charisma and Shorten is a dry lunch.

Nobody you know voted for him, yet he still wins. A miracle... a real miracle...

It all boils down to who is the best person to bring through what's coming next. You/we either love the leader and they can do no wrong - despite doing lots more than the last one, or we get a leader we all hate and blame everything our country does on them. Then they're gone and we get a new one who takes a turn taking the blame.

It's the same old story just with a new character... and possibly new locations.

Democracy is an illusion and not a very good one.

Hey, I'm just glad I'm not having kids who'll have to inherit the country we destroyed!
