That's what I thought, but my partner in crime was left unsatisfied.
I felt the whole thing was a prologue for Weyland going into the Prometheus project.
As if, he was prefacing his talk about the project with what we saw yesterday.
Like a true teaser would do. But it's a "backstory teaser" instead.

I wonder if they'll be more excerpts from TED 2023 in our future.

That was pretty effing sweet. A bit overacted perhaps but since it's Pearce I'll let him get away with it. "We are the Gods now". Good line. Very fitting for a "Weyland" character.

It's kinda scary how pumped up I am for this movie. For me it's completely black and white. It's either gonna be the best movie of all times or the biggest train wreck since...whatever. But even if it turns out to be a train wreck it'll still be the best movie ever. That's not healthy.

It looks awesome, great trailer! Just over two months now...can't wait.

I think everybody who knows me by now will know that sci-fi just isn't my cup of tea.

But I'm going to beat every single one of you nerds to the ticket lines on this one, cause that looked pretty damn awesome.

Nice, crisp shots of stuff that sails by too fast in the trailer to take it all in -- the humorous speculation by an obvious fan-boy was bonus.

At first I was put off by 60 pages, but actually flipping through it was a breeze.
