Oh yes, there will be blood...
Too much blood for PG-13 to handle!

I'm glad, this looks awesome and would hate to see it cut to fit a rating.

The soundtrack has leaked!
As well as some rather spoilerish track titles.
I checked out a few tracks.
Sounds pretty old school to me. Low key.
I'm not familiar with Streitenfeld's other work.

For those less inclined to the charcoal areas...
Check out this sample...

Just listened to the entire soundtrack. Very good. Very different from the Alien movies but there are a few homages to Jerry Goldsmith here and there.

Agreed, I skimmed the tracks.
I'm a whore for Goldsmith scores.
Own bunches of them. Psycho II still floors me.
I wonder why they had two composers on the project.
Gregson-Williams is popular and worked with Scott before of Kingdom of Heaven.

I've gone through the leaked score a few times...
I'm pretty disappointed in the soundtrack.

I didn't expect it to be a Goldsmith love letter, but this is pedestrian stuff IMO.
The incessant trilling and muddy themes did not engage me at all.
Save for a track here and there, I found this pretty forgettable.

I'll be curious how others rate the score.

So I've booked tickets for the 3D screening and coughed up £10 for each ticket and now I've heard some mixed reviews...gutted.

Since this will apparently be screening for our brothers (and sisters) across the pond, it is time to lock up this thread to avoid confusion.

Dates all the way back to 2009, this thread -- been a long time coming, this film.

The first of you moved to compose some sort of review are encouraged to start a new thread in the Review section.

If you discuss spoilers, please note them as such.  Though I will probably read them anyway....
