Hmmmmm tough. Mine changes on a weekly basis. Right now my favourite song is probably Wonderwall by Oasis. Also Bob Dylan's All Along the Watchtower and anything by Nine Inch Nails or Juno Reactor.

One of my favorites is "Brick" by Ben Folds Five.
And "Hands Down" by Dashboard Confessional is amazing. Just the acoustic version, though. I prefer acoustic over the other thing.

Oh god, this is impossible.

I'll probably regret this, but I'm gonna say:

"Paradise by the Dashboard light" by Meatloaf.

Yup, regretting it, so many good songs out there . . .

My favorite song changes on a daily basis.  Here are most of them:

Bruce Springsteen - Born To Run
Van Morrison & Them - It's All Over Now Baby Blue
Supertramp - Goodbye Stranger
Rolling Stones - Doo Doo Doo Doo Doo (Heartbreaker)
Rolling Stones - Gimme Shelter
Bob Dylan - The Man In Me

...and all those songs are older than me, so I thought I'd add some new stuff...

Kanye West - Flashing Lights
Talib Kweli - Get By

Please, read Elvis The Goat or Cold Turkey.  Thanks in advance and I'll make sure to review your script in exchange.

Though it's cold and lonely in the deep, dark night...

Current favorite is Rollin' On by Black Stone Cherry... An essential road tune.

Two of my all-time favorite songs are "Thunderstruck" by AC/DC and "Southern Cross" by Crosby, Stills & Nash.  Outside of those two definites, there's like a gajillion others.

Be excellent to each other

On a similar note, I'm going to have to go with 'Objects in the Rear View Mirror May Appear Closer than They Are', by Meat Loaf.  Boy, Jim Steinman certainly likes titling songs with car parts in them.

Also

- 'Fuck You:  An Ode to No One' by Smashing Pumpkins.
- 'Suicide is Painless'  (aka: The Theme Song from M*A*S*H)  - The original version.  I'm not too sure who sings it, but I can't stand Manson's crappy cover.

And Sniper just reminded me how great 'This is War' by Smile Empty Soul is, too.

The Pretender ( the Jackson Brown song but only the version by Gary U.S. Bonds which is a sizzling soul cover)
Games People Play - The Spinners
Mighty Love - The Spinners
Nine Times Out of Ten - Teddy Pendergrass
Backstabbers - The O'Jays
Backstreets -Springsteen
Baker Street - Gerry rafferty
The Friends Of Mr Cairo - Vangelis & Jon Anderson

And Hell yeah I'll give a Jim Steinman shout out for both Bat Out Of Hell & Steinman's version of Bad For Good
