I thought I should post all the lyrics to Michel's song link above so you can all sing along with me!

Look inside,
Look inside your tiny mind
Now look a bit harder
Cause we're so uninspired,
so sick and tired of all the
hatred you harbor

So you say
It's not okay to be gay
Well I think you're just evil
You're just some racist who
can't tie my laces
Your point of view is medieval

Fuck you (Fuck you)
Fuck you very, very much
Cause we hate what you do
And we hate your whole crew
So please don't stay in touch

Fuck you (Fuck You)
Fuck you very, very much
Cause your words don't translate
And it's getting quite late
So please don't stay in touch

Do you get,
Do you get a little kick out of
being slow minded?
You want to be like your father
It's approval your after
Well that's not how you find it

Do you,
Do you really enjoy living a
life that's so hateful?
Cause there's a hole where
your soul should be
Your losing control of it and
it's really distasteful

Fuck you (Fuck You)
Fuck you very, very much
Cause we hate what you do
And we hate your whole crew
So please don't stay in touch

Fuck you (Fuck You)
Fuck you very, very much
Cause your words don't
translate and it's getting
quite late
So please don't stay in touch

Fuck you, Fuck you, Fuck you,
Fuck you, Fuck you, Fuck you,
Fuck yooooou

You say
You think we need to go to war
well you're already in one
Cause it's people like you
who need to get slew
No one wants your opinion

Fuck you (Fuck You)
Fuck you very, very much
Cause we hate what you do
And we hate your whole crew
So please don't stay in touch

Fuck you (Fuck You)
Fuck you very, very much
Cause your words don't
translate and it's getting
quite late
So please don't stay in touch

Fuck you, Fuck you
Fuck you, Fuck you
Fuck you, Fuck you

Lilly Allen

**I will be singing this all the way to the grocery store and back.

Florence and the Machine- Drumming Song

This song is awesome, and the video is very well directed. Plus there's something about this women that I find very attractive.

I understand this. It's a very deep feeling inside. I've just downloaded it.

First screenplay I ever wrote, in a depressed state, was about six months ago. of course, gonna write a feature and sell it for millions. Right!  So my 108pg turd lies in waiting for me to revisit, after I polish my skills a little, if such a thing can be done. Anywho it was a very dramatic horror. i referenced an appalachian folk song in it that my mommy used to sing to me. Awww. The scots have argued their rights to it cause it mentions "Clyde". no matter. One of the most beautiful and emotional charged songs i've ever heard in my life. Listened to it a thousand times while writing. This is the best version IMO

I don't know why, but I've been on a King Tee flashback trip lately. The dude still kicks ass. Too bad wangsters like Eminem, Nelly, Fifty, Kanye and anybody who calls Lil' something have taken over Hip Hop - no wonder Hip Hop is dead.

Elliott Smith- Between The Bars

Amazing song. IMO, it's one of the greatest songs of the twentieth century.

Alice In Chains - A Looking In View.

This song is bad-motherfucking-ass!

As a total grunge freak, it's fucking awesome to hear something new from Alice In Chains. While their new lead singer can't quite compete with Layne Staley when it comes to intensity, he can definitely hold his own. I'm amazed how much this track (and the new album as a whole) sounds like the good old Alice In Chains.

Truly amazing lyrics. And yet I cannot hide from Him. No place I go can I hide.

Hear footsteps creak the floor
The shadows give away
Someone outside the door
Won't let 'em in

Half damaged gears to grind
A run down broke machine
That steals your peace of mind
Before you know it's gone
Lay doubt, weight

Silence burning, hold your tongue
Keep a separate soul they'd know

Hiding in the dark that's under
Pulling to the surface
Stumble, fall

A looking in view too long on the outside
Desperate plans make sense and alone I...
H-i-i-i-i-i-i-d-e

A looking in view too long on the outside
Desperate plans make sense and alone I...
H-i-i-i-i-i-i-d-e

[Savagely wicked restart]

These things I hate in you
Also reflect it seems
Distortion laced with spite
Takes you out of me
Late now, laid

Hiding in the darkness under
Pulling to the surface
Somethin' crawling on your skin
Discomfort makes you break and run
Stumble, fall

A looking in view too long on the outside
Desperate plans make sense and alone I... h-i-i-i-i-i-d-e
A looking in view too long on the outside
Desperate plans make sense and alone I...
H-i-i-i-i-i-d-e
It's why you never tell me heaven's on your mind
It's why you never tell me heaven's on your mind
That's why you'll never tell me heaven's on your mind
That's why you'll never tell me heaven's on your mind

A looking in view too long on the outside
Desperate plans make sense and alone I...
H-i-i-i-i-d-e
A looking in view too long on the outside
Desperate plans make sense and alone I...
H-i-i-i-i-d-e

It's why you never tell me heaven's on your mind
A vengeful mind...
Oh god oooooh
Selfish plans, a vengeful mind
It's all gone
Oooooh
Except for the cross
A vengeful mind just reached inside

Lyrics from Alice in Chains - A Looking in View

And thus we have the unique position of existing within two polarities.

Jwent, I know for certain I've heard this before, but it was sung by a different artist.

I just can't remember who.

If you manage to get the time to research it, I'd appreciate it. Or I will tomorrow and see what I come up with. I'm almost thinking a country artist, but it might have been kind of a country/folk artist. I'm not sure, but it was quite a different arrangement although the words are the same. I think it had a faster tempo.

Glad to see the wonderful Miss Allen here - Fuck You is one of several great songs on her second album, "It's Not Me, It's You". "22" is truly brilliant.

Seriously underrated singer/songwriter.

Those who know my work may not be at all surprised to learn I am currently working on a script entitled "Last Night Lily Allen Saved My Life"!

The song, however, that I have stuck in my head right now is "Sway".

When marimba rhythms start to play
Dance with me, make me sway
Like a lazy ocean hugs the shore
Hold me close, sway me more

Like a flower bending in the breeze
Bend with me, sway with ease
When we dance you have a way with me
Stay with me, sway with me

Other dancers may be on the floor
Dear, but my eyes will see only you
Only you have that magic technique
When we sway I go weak

I can hear the sounds of violins
Long before it begins
Make me thrill as only you know how
Sway me smooth, sway me now

Other dancers may be on the floor
Dear, but my eyes will see only you
Only you have that magic technique
When we sway I go weak

I can hear the sounds of violins
Long before it begins
Make me thrill as only you know how
Sway me smooth, sway me now
You know how
Sway me smooth, sway me now

That is so awesome!!! I would love to read your work when you're done!!!

Re: Sway and Michael Buble-- I love his music!!!

When this was popular, I used to overdose my son with it and get all mischievous. I used to phone him up at work when it was playing on the radio and I wouldn't "answer", but just stick the receiver to the radio.

It was a little joke we had going. It would be like, "Oh God no!!!" from Richard. "Not again!!!!"   We had fun.

Thanks for this. Loved the listen. I'll have to resurrect our little game and send Richard a whole pile of youtube links again!!!

P.S. His future wife to be is as mischievous as I am; so I'm sure we will have a lot of fun!!!

Thanks again.

Nice version, but then it would be, given the singer!

The version I have heard which has stuck with me is by "The Puppini Sisters". It features in my short, "And She Was".
