Congrats, Breanne! Doesn't seem like the first time, right? I remember you were making a movie, then you had a few that were optioned, then one was received well at Carson's....

But that's impressive anyway. Nice!!!

Yeah, seems like projects are always looking hopeful then fizzling. That's the way this business is. Every now and then, though, something will go somewhere.

Apologies, Breanne. I've admittedly glanced over this thread several times stopping in and out of the boards. Congrats on your success with both A Day With Death and Warning Shot (I still remember reading Warning Shot several years ago, believe it or not). You deserve it, and I hope to see you succeed even further in the future.

Thanks Mark. I've said this before, but I still believe SS is the best stomping ground on the internet for new screenwriters. I hope to see this site get more of the recognition I think it deserves.

And thank you too James. I 'm flattered you remember reading it. Your input was invaluable.

Hey Breanne,
I'm very happy for you.  It's always nice to see a really good person get some justice for their writing skills!  You're a quality writer but, you're a BETTER person.  You deserve all the breaks you get.

I agree with you.  This site is amazing.  The people are tough but fair.  And as I've said a few times over, but, I'd rather hear the comments on how to be a better writer on here and by extension, get better and help others get better, so we all get better, then to hear it from a paid agency or (worst case scenario) hear it from a person that has the power to buy my script  but passes on it for reasons that others said on this site.

I have made a ton of mistakes in life, but, finding this site was one of the best things that I've ever done.

I know my health keeps me on the sidelines mostly for now, but, I consider people like you and several others (you know who you are) as friends of mine.  I'd love to write a story with any of you!!

Congrats again Breanne!

Dan

Please read my scripts:
http://www.simplyscripts.net/cgi-bin/Blah/Blah.pl?b-series/m-1427564706/

I'm interested in reading animation, horror, sci fy, suspense, fantasy, and anything that is good.  I enjoy writing the same.  Looking to team with anyone!

Thanks
Dan

Thanks Dan. Not sure I live up to your very kind words, but I try. I appreciate the support and hope you get well enough to do some more writing soon. Best.
