Quoted from Mr.Ripley
When there’s a will, there’s a way. I think they would have found a way to resolve that if it didn’t pan out.

I wouldn’t stress it much. If they got lucky, why can you?

Gabe

If any of the events described in “A Moment of Reflection” occurred on-set due to pure luck, I wouldn’t stop running until I’d crossed at least one ocean

I was contemplating that they’ll find someone who can best pass it off and tell the audience that they were the best person lol. That’s what they usually do.

I wonder if Darren is out. He was writing for this thing too. That's how I remember it.

Haven't followed this, to be honest. Just quick glances to make sure no crap was going on, but it seems rather sedate, lol. I've been super busy with non writing stuff for the last year and have pretty much not written anything during that time. However, something happened in the last month. Something really bad concerning the health of a friend of mine and I now feel I need to focus on something completely different before my mind gets overloaded with emotions. I know there's only 9 days left, but I'm throwing my hat into the ring. I will do my best to write one before the deadline. Title will be 9 Circles and have five or so stories. Narrator will intro us to the stories via Gustave Dore's pictures of Dante's Inferno. Sins people! They are as old as we are.

Glad to see you writing, and look forward to seeing what you come up with... but wish it were under happier circumstances.

Good luck!

We all understand this is going to first drafts so we’re  cool about it lol.

Hopefully the friend is ok. Positive vibes to the friend.

This Friday and Saturday I work overnight so I should be able to get a good number of pages in. Ill strive to finish it.

Doubt has been settling in with some of these stories in that if it fits the criteria but at this point Im going through it. Ive come to far to quit now lol.

Were close to the deadline. We can do it!

Gabe

Down to the wire. Going to see if I can finish this over the weekend. Hopefully everyone's ready.

It'll be darn close.  I don't think it'll happen though.
I wasn't too crazy about the curator angle, so I made up a new "horror host".
Then there's the tone of the work and how disjointed it feels.

The steam has gone out of the engine, so to speak. They read better as stand alone shorts.
They will show up, the ones worth keeping, although I haven't started writing the last tale yet.
I might save that for another time.I didn't have as much focus as I had with the recent OWC.

My curator is a hybrid of Rod Serling, Hugh Hefner, and Count Floyd. Maybe a few influences from Are You Afraid of the Dark? and Tales from the Crypt. There's a little homage to Alfred Hitchcock Presents.

I'm getting the "writing a paper at the last minute" vibe hear lol. It sucks but I'm determined to finish this and post it by deadline.

Can't wait to read the others.

Contact Mr. Blonde. Or worse case scenario Don?

On a side note: It looks like I may not be able to make the deadline. Doesn't mean that I won't submit it after. I will but at it's current state, it's not even worth it. lol. I'm a slow writer. Sorry ladies and gents.

Woah! Lost Darren - but that was kind of expected somewhat because Darren didn't come here that often lately.
But Gabe...!
You had it in the bag, what happened?

I don't know if I should submit mine then. It's much worse than yours I'm sure at the present state. So, I'm scared to embarrass myself.
