My Violin can be heard on the music score and sound tracks of The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel. Although, I am writing several screenplays or developing high concept ideas, I am waiting for my first big writing credit to come this year or next. So, do enjoy "The Best Exotic Marigold" experience, directed by John Madden and Music scored by Thomas Newman, starring ** Judy Dench, Bill Nighy, Tom Wilkinson, Maggie Smith, Dev Patel and Tena Desae.

And Jagan Ramamoorthy on Violin!

I edited and proofread a book, for a Genealogist and now it has been published, is available on AMAZON "A face to my name" by Sheri McNeil-Savory. Read it, it is a very good book for scholars.

Them That's Dead is chugging along. I've had a bit of a hard time finding an actor for the older pirate, Gulley. Worse case scenario, I have to get someone from Jax, but I rather get one from Gainesville or St. Augustine if possible since that would make table reads and costume fitting easier.

We're having a production meeting next week to go over all logistics. Equipment needed and a shotlist and so on.

I did some green screening over the weekend with a model pirate ship. It's supposed to be for the title sequence or just some b-role. Still took me hours...

I'm still hoping for a June shoot.

I'm also looking forward to the release of Blackout. They are promoting it right now. They've also turned it into a 3D film in hopes to get a very limited theatrical release, but....

Finders Keepers is all finished shooting and will get finished with post once Blackout is done.

...and then there's the found footage vampire script that needs a big rewrite. It is supposed to go into production at the end of the summer.

Other than that, I have absolutely nothing going on.

Oh Pia...I need to talk to you....weather permitting...I'm going to try to film a FF short next week. This week...rain in Jax but next week we are going to film. Hooked up with a film guy in Jax who wants stuff to practice with and get his work out there...so I storyboarded a couple shorts.

Question...if you are going to shoot a scene on the beach at near dark...do you have to have release from the county??

I love the greenscreen I've done a lot of photography and we used it a lot.

I have permission to shoot at Anastacia State Park.  But, yeah, it's always best to try to get permission.  If you can't, I guess guerilla style is what you have to do.

Great pic, Pia! I wish we lived closer so we could work together on something.

As for me:

My short film Selfless is scheduled to finish post production in June.

I’m also getting ready to shoot my next short. The script is done and we’re in the production planning stages. We’re almost ready to start crewing.

After that, I’m going to start on a budget breakdown for my first feature.

I’m really excited about all the stuff going on right now, not just with me, but everyone!

I have a great opportunity now, with a very good producer asking me about my stories to make. He has a great passion about making movies that are "Like Bollywood" but not too heavy either!

BRAVO! The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel has officially now crossed 100 M worldwide gross, not bad for a movie made for just 10 M and has some Hall of Famers in it for sure.

I am very fortunate to have been a part of this movie -- providing my Violin support to the Music score by Thomas Newman.
