199 pages - nuff said. Not even the best story can make up for that excessive page count...

Well, I just took a look anyway and the formatting is totally messed up, that probably explains the page count. But even with proper formatting this would probably be around 140 pages which is still waaaay too long for a comedy.

Don't know if the writer is around, but I'd suggest to read some other scripts and articles about screenwriting since he is obviously in the early stages.

Hi Dominic, this looks like a fun premise, but yeah 199 pages is way too long! Shoot for 85-100 pages for a comedy. I see the formatting has a lot of extra line spaces. Try importing into Final Draft or Celtx and REMOVE ALL OF THE ALL CAPS.

Sorry to focus on the context over the content, but there are certain standards industry professionals expect to see on the outset, otherwise they're not going to invest the time into reading. Good luck!
