Hi folks,

I'm looking for a short horror or thriller script. 10 pages or less.

Nothing that involves multiple locations or anything that requires lot's of funding.

I like the work of Zack Akers.

If we find the right script we will start shooting in January.

Once the film is finished we will hit the festival circuit.

I look forward to reading as many scripts as possible in the meantime.

Many thanks for your time.

Hey PC,

Welcome to SS, it's a great place for writers and finding scripts.

I wish I had a script for you but mine are not horror but feel feel free to check out Inner Journey - two actors, one location, but may not suit your genre.

The funny thing is I am working on a short, cheap horror for another site, but it's not ready yet.

From memory a writer called Sham has a few decent horror low budgets scripts.  You may also want to check out the septemeber 2011 OWC, as this was a max of four actors, one location.

All the best.

My scripts  HERE

The Elevator Most Belonging To Alice - Semi Final Bluecat, Runner Up Nashville
Inner Journey - Page Awards Finalist - Bluecat semi final
Grieving Spell - winner - London Film Awards.  Third - Honolulu
Ultimate Weapon - Fresh Voices - second place

Thanks RD.

Will definitely read Inner Journey although I want to stick to horror/thriller for the time being.

As you know, I'm new to the site so once I figure out how to find Sham I will check out his scripts.

Do you have a link to the 2011 OWC you mentioned?

Take care.

I have one that might work. One location, two characters, 5 pages.

It was optioned and in pre-production with a well known actress at one point, but I think that fell through.

The link to it here at SS doesn't work at the moment since I have disabled my website, but I'd be happy to email the script to you.

The End...A young mother struggles to make the right decision as civilization nears it's end.

Hi Crash -

You might want to check out Phil's and my shorts:  here are the two applicable links (scripts available onsite).  Don't want to overload your inbox for now, so I'll just post the loglines below for the ones that would be more low budget...

Not to bias you, but one of mine - The Economy Sucks - is brief, low budget and a favorite of mine.  Can't give you too much info, without ruining the twist!

Phil Clarke (dogglebe): http://www.philclarkejr.com/Shorts.html
Janet Clarke (wonkavite): http://www.philclarkejr.com/jec.html

******************

Bean Nighe - (Horror) - In the Scottish Highlands, an old man finds himself face to face with a creature from legend - and a memory from the past which threatens to take away the last of what he still holds dear. 13 pages

The Economy Sucks (Horror/Drama) - To provide for his family, a cash strapped businessman makes a desperate deal.  Wall Street isn't the only blood sucker out there...  5 pages.

Mr. Schultz' Zombie Army (Adolescent Horror) - When a mad scientist moves in next door, only Mikey and Bobby can stop the coming horror.

Roly Poly (Horror) - A vampire's latest victim reminds him of who he once was.  Finalist in Shriekfest 2009.

Sixteen Minutes (Horror) - Sixteen minutes in the life of a zombie hunter...the last sixteen.  (Part Two of the Zombie World Trilogy, including Not Even Death and Zombie Chicken.)

Cheers!
