I think two weeks of worth of effort weighs a little heavier than an hour or so past the deadline. I don’t see an issue, it’s just a challenge.

Regardless, I'm thankful for the challenge. It got me writing, and I love what I wrote. That's worth it even if it doesn't get in.

I had a blast writing this. Really proud of what I was able to come up with. I hope it's half as clever and creative as I think it is.

Yeah, but as a veteran I remember many an OWC that had some loose deadlines, including one that was midnight in any time zone you're in. While I appreciate the need for a deadline, I've never had a problem with late entries before, especially if it means more competition for the challenge.
