“Over the Hedge” was a pretty good animated movie. I saw it before I saw Pixar’s “Cars,” so I had nothing to compare it to at the time other than the horrible “Doogle” and “Hoodwinked.”

It had a pretty good story and good voice-acting. The animation was pretty good. But it just seemed as if we stayed in one location. There weren’t hardly any locations. So in that way, the film was kinda dull. But it is definitely better than Disney’s “Chicken Little.”

It was a pretty good film, though, and there were a few “action” scenes that were sometimes funny and sometimes not.

This film isn’t for adults, that’s for sure. Or teenagers. It’s definitely a kid film, which is fine…seeing as how that is what these films are “supposed” to be….kid films.

If you have kids and they need something to do, wait a few months and get the DVD. They’ll be entertained. But if you want to see this film, don’t expect a film like “The Incredibles.”

Wow you watched a lot of animation today, it seems. I hear a lot about The Incredibles... what about Finding Nemo? Finding Nemo was way better than The Incredibles. I also enjoyed Shark Tale... those crawfish and the worm were the best parts! But that's another thread.

Yeah, I did see a lot of animation. But there isn't anything better in theaters. And I love Pixar...well, I love the behind the scenes stuff on their DVD's.
