Ireland are through to the European Championships, and tonight I am celebrating!

I thought I'd share with you lot, the greatest film ever made about this fine country going to the finals of a major competition. Based on the novel by the great Roddy Doyle, The Van tells the story of a man and his mate buying a fish and chip van, starting a business and supporting The Boys In Green during the World Cup of 1990. It's part of The Barrytown Trilogy along with two other fine films, The Commitments and The Snapper. The humour is very Irish but this is truly a feel good, heart warming tale about friendship and never fails to put a smile on my face.

If you haven't already, please do check it out: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0118064/

Have a good night
