Saw this last week and enjoyed it for what it is, just like I enjoyed Olympus has Fallen a few years ago.

This is not as good as Olympus and also covers very similar ground and overall look and tone...so...if you didn't like Olympus, you ain't gonna like this either.

Antoine Fuqua, who directed Olympus, bailed on this sequel because he didn't like the script.  I can actually understand why, as it is rather hard to believe, so similar to the original, and also hard to see a real Antag to hate.

The action is what this is all about again, and for me, it worked and succeeded where it needed to.  The FX also worked for me, although much like Olympus, critics based them.  In alot of ways, this is much like a disaster film in the level of destruction taking place, which I've always been a fan of.

Gunplay is good and very violent once again.  1,000's die, tens of thousands of rounds are shot, yet very few hit their mark in Gerard Butler's body.  But hey, how many times do the bad guys get the 1 up on James Bond or other action stars?

An open mind, 2 hours to kill, and a lust for violence and bloodshed and you'll be as happy as a tight little clam.
