Have any of you seen this?

It used to be available on the RTE player (Ireland's national broadcaster) but it seems to have been taken down.

Anyway here's the trailer https://youtu.be/ImdkISvOesg

I've watched the full thing a countless number of times. Really loved it. It's simple, touching and so well made.

It won the Oscar for best Short film, and Benjamin Cleary (writer and director) is Irish. It was the third short he had produced, think it was the first he directed himself. It's just a nice reminder that it's definitely possible to achieve great success in what we're all interested in here. For me anyway, it's a great inspiration, being Irish and all.

So if you can, hunt this down and watch it. Great example of a simple short made well.

I never saw this, but when it won Best Short I actually emailed one of the producers, you know, just to pick her brain a little. No surprise that she said what attracted her to a project was mainly -- story and a unique writing voice. Genre nor page count was a deterrent.

Just goes to show you a couple things that we always hear round here.

Steve

I saw it.

Not much to it, IMO. Cute and simple. It was warm.

Does anyone know where I can watch it? I googled the hell out of it, but it's nowhere to be found.

Caleb
You tore up her picture.

Nathan
