One major problem for me was the end... how can bullets and blades not kill Logan yet a damn tree stump does him in? That was the only problem I had

He body was dying the entire time from ademantiam poison. You notice at the start his claws don't fully extend because his body is shutting down. The tree stump at the end was just the final straw. As soon as he went through that stump I knew it was the end for him

Very convenient they ran out of green stuff for Logan to die.  Very convenient the green stuff Logan took only lasted 5 minutes.
P.S. correct me if I am wrong, but didn't the girl have O neg blood. Is that the universal blood type? It would been believable  a direct transfusion would  save Logan - and please no on use the counter arguement 'they're just kids'; they messed around with syringes, killed people (in self-defense) and hid out on their own.

I don't know any kids that know a lot about blood transfusions.

Like I said:  the kids were killing people and injecting themselves with experimental medicine.
P.S. one of the kids had to school Wolvie on how to use the green stuff, so they knew something.

Not too shabby for a superhero movie... (i'm so over the genre) I appreciated the edgier/rated R take on the subject matter.

And despite some serious downtime in the story... Patrick Stewart's performance alone was worth the price of admission for me.

The man is about to turn 77 and between this and Green Room... he is on fire right now and as good as he's ever been in his career.

Just fantastic.
