Two very long hours until I'll have Coke, popcorn, and a triple-choc choc top in hand, settling down to watch this in Vmax.

To say I'm excited would be the understatement of the century. This is going to be awesome! I'll let you know in about five hours

And to all the Aussie's, hope you're having a good Anzac day, Lest we forget.

That was AWESOME!!!! Watch it immediately!

Just everything, every single moment was pure brilliance.

I won't delve into any specifics, but fans of the universe will not be disappointed.

So so so good.

Thanks for the spoiler-less thoughts Warren.
I have seen Infinity War, but not Captain Marvel or Ant-Man and the Wasp.
Is it necessary to see these movies before watching it?

I'd say Captain Marvel definitely. If you don't watch Ant-man you aren't really going to miss a whole lot.

Okay, thanks for that.

I'd never dreamed that all these characters I used to love reading about as a kid would be in one huge cinematic universe, even the obscure ones.

Great film. Incredibly emotional.

I was worried about it after Captain Marvel...Brie Larson's performance in that was so profoundly boring that she sucked the life out of her whole film, and I was worried at the outset of this that she would perform the same trick here, but thankfully they shifted her out of the way as quickly as possible.

Does any of it make sense? I have no idea. But it's a great film.

Not necessary,  but recommended I'd say.

The plan in Endgame is best understood after watching Ant Man and the Wasp.

Captain Marvel so you know who Captain Marvel is....though you'll probably wish she didn't exist after seeing it.

This is very cool (no spoilers): go to Google chrome and type in Thanos; the first result has an animated gauntlet; and click on the gauntlet. For the closet geek in all of us.

Watched it yesterday. Two thumbs up. There are a few logic issues IMHO (zero spoilers) but it's the best ending one could hope for after 11 years. It was an amazing walk, exciting and deeply emotional. Loved the sports movie feel it had in some scenes.

I thought it was by far the best one.  And I'm not a huge fan of MCU or comic movies.  But it was clearly excellent in every way.

Just watched this one last week. Fair warning for some mild spoilers, or at least, I'd consider them mild.

As a note, I do have to say that I was somewhat taken aback by the slow, pensive tone of the first 40 minutes or so. Not that I lack appreciation for it though... I've always felt that Marvel films constantly resort to cheap and excessive humor even when it should not be there, and in this case the comparative lack of humor early on fit the plot well.

I did laugh at fat Thor quite a bit, but I could not understand why he seemed to struggle against a gauntlet-less Thanos when he totally wrecked him with the axe in the previous film. Does the fact that he's fat suddenly take away his powers? lol. You could even see abs under the beer gut! I'll be happy to even get there myself.

Also, Captain Marvel contributed a whole lot of nothing to the movie, so the build-up to her felt strange. I skipped her film (mostly for lack of time as I was changing apartments at the time) and I did not regret it.

In any case, I really enjoyed the movie and I think this is as close to a comic book-like "event" as we're going to get for quite some time, or possibly ever.
