I think were going to have both. Its too early for horror owc though. Halloween is 2 weeks away.

Let's do an old fashioned one the week of Halloween;..

OR maybe a 48 hour challenge... Kevin and I have done many of those with the NYC Midnight challenges... you just get a location, a prop(object) and genre. We could do it over Halloween and of course make it HORROR...

I would participate in this one. But I think for an OWC to happen we need an initiator to email Don and start this thing. That's how it is, no? Otherwise Don does it all himself, and he might not have time for this one.
Maybe Pia is cooking up something, October OWC's are her thing.

I don't think there's any particular person in charge of this. Usually Don, but if anyone doesn't mind taking the reins of it, Don and Pia won't mind. I think Pia won't since she's busy with shooting shorts. Maybe.

Regardless, you can always write a horror short and submit it regularly. You don't need a challenge to get you to write. You're all great writers, for God's sake! lol.

Well part of the challenge is the restriction/prompt that was carefully chosen by a seasoned writer.

Sure, you can write a horror short. But can you write a horror short about a slightly overripe grapefruit???

Feature-length scripts:
Who Wants to Be a Princess? (Family)
Glass House (Horror anthology)

TV pilots:
"Kord" (Fantasy)
"Mal Suerte" (Superhero)

Additional scripts are listed here.

I usually can't write anything if they don't give me a deadline and restrictions.

Oh, and I like it when they are rude and cranky and say no to each of my suggestions...  I digress

I disagree. Mark (IrishEyes) needs a challenge to get himself to write anything. Guy’s as lazy af.
