I wasn't sure where to post this, so, mods, if you think this should be posted elsewhere, feel free to move it.

Okay, I have an issue.  I need to come up with a prophecy.  And I suck at doing that kind of stuff.  I have most of the characters.

I have a half-human half-llama hybrid
A fighter who wants to be a mage.
A tiny human sized spitfire mage who wants to be a fighter
A giant 10 foot spider that's a vegetarian or consumes dead things.
And a peace loving minotaur that loves to feel flowers on their feet.

The llama hybrid creates a gigantic bow.
the fighter who wants to be a mage masters a high level permanent fire spell
The mage who wants to be a fighter creates an arrow
The spider creates silk used to string the bow.
And the minotaur fires the bow to save their friends and slay the evil dragon.

Any ideas on how to write a prophecy?

     thanks for that good read.  That gave me a few ideas.  I know for my D&D adventures, i could make something cheesy up, but, I don't want to do that here.

Actually, this is a dumb challenge that I gave myself after reading Carson's story how he once had a half-Llama character and found out it was terrible.

IMO, no character is terrible, just terrible stories.  Well, now, I got this (IMO) pretty decent story and even did a bit of research as to who the good guys, bad guys, etc are and I want to follow it to the end.  

And yes, submit it for the 250 story.  I'd love to see the look on Carson's face.

I'm not sure why you put this in poetry. I would probably have put it in "My work in progress" myself. You can start a new thread there if you want and just copy pasting your posts and Anthony's link.

If you want us to move the whole thing, I or someone else can do that, but since Anthony's link is the only response so far, I'd suggest you do it.  

I would try to help you with your initial question, I just don't think I'm good at prophecies and fantasy stuff. I'm uneducated and slow.

    I chose Poetry b/c plenty of times prophecies show up as poems that rhyme.  That was my train of thought.

It doesn't even have to be fantasy, any kind of prophecy works.
