Here is my character list and treatment for my new and upcoming series A Life Prosaic. Check it out and tell me what I can improve/add/delete or just your thoughts on my sitcom.

A Life Prosaic:

A man by the name of Richard McCann was just recently elected Mayor of the small town in Greenbelt. The town is filled with all kinds of quacks and nut-jobs. Watch McCann as he deals with these predicaments and sometimes unruly citizens of this small rural town.

Richard McCann – A forty-five year old man with long gray hair cut to a bowl shaped style and combed to the side was recently elected Mayor in the small town of Greenbelt. He is smug and to the point; not the kind of guy that likes to kid around.

Cynthia Monroe – A chubby thirty-year-old brunette with a cunning wit. She is the secretary for Mayor McCann. As a child she suffered a great fall and has trouble remembering things. This comes to affect McCann because she always forgets important information.

Lewis Taylor – The janitor of the building and a stark man in his early thirties. He is a prankster at heart and is always antagonizing McCann.

You could try re-wording it.  Just a suggestion:

A Life Prosaic:

Watch as Mayor Richard McCann, of the small rural town of Greenbelt -- a town filled with all kinds of quacks and nut-jobs -- must deal with various predicaments and unruly citizens.

Richard McCann – (age 45) has long gray, parted bowl-styled hair.  He's the new Mayor. He's smug and to the point.  He never kids around.

Cynthia Monroe – Mayor McCann's secretary.  She's a chubby thirty-year-old brunette with a cunning wit. She has memory problems because of a great fall she suffered as a child.

Lewis Taylor – The Janitor of Town Hall.  A stark man in his early thirties. He's a prankster who always antagonizes Mayor McCann.

Word it however you want.  This suggestion was simply the first thing that came to mind.
