I am writing a script that is basically a dream sequence with a twist back to reality at the end.

The character represent real characters later intro'd in heroes real world/

My question is

Is it okay to intro second character as

LARRY STEWART, police chief, same person as Harry dumont in dream,

or is there a mandatory way to do it.

Thanks

It depends on the script. I get it but it’s how the story flows. You would need people to read it.

Gabe

Just Murdered by Sean Elwood (Zombie Sean) and Gabriel Moronta (Mr. Ripley) - (Dark Comedy, Horror) All is fair in love and war. A hopeless romantic gay man resorts to bloodshed to win the coveted position of Bridesmaid. 99 pages.

I think you could do it that way. Really important in this type  a script though to make SURE you do not confuse the reader.

JohnI,

Is HARRY DUMONT introduced before LARRY STEWART?

If so, you could write it as,

HARRY DUMONT (age, description, etc.). We will later know him as LARRY STEWART.

I've also seen it written as,
HARRY DUMONT/LARRY STEWART
and
HARRY DUMONT (Larry Stewart)
-However I think the first suggestion flows better. But that is just my opinion.

Any of the more experienced writers correct me if I am wrong.

I hope this helps.

All the best,
Marty
