Page length is going to be a hard parameter for me too. I won't look past it.

Done and submitted.

This script is mean and lean as I had to cut any trace of extra fat to fit a complete story in 5 pages. But I managed. Just hope it's good enough to give Dustin a run for his money! But I think it turned out well. Good luck!

I don't understand why people would want to lose votes automatically. Many writers that worked hard to stay within the parameters will frown upon those that didn't.

This would ordinarily count as a breadcrumb. However, on this occasion, it keeps us on an even keel as I have also just managed to fit a complete story in 5 pages.

I'm confused. What difference does a breadcrumb make in this case, Dustin? You two are going against each other...

What's the point in it being anonymous if we are allowed to give clues to which script we wrote?

But I think the voting can be set up so that readers won't know which pair of authors wrote those two scripts. Then you need a breadcrumb that not only contrasts with your opponent, but with everyone else in that round.

You know, like "I had a really hard time fitting my story into 5 pages... at least until I turned the font size down to 9 points."

Feature-length scripts:
Who Wants to Be a Princess? (Family)
Glass House (Horror anthology)

TV pilots:
"Kord" (Fantasy)
"Mal Suerte" (Superhero)

Additional scripts are listed here.

I'm still in the dark to how it's going to be. Sean, are you going to announce that these two scripts belong to these two writers, or you'll just list the scripts and we'll vote for the scripts without knowing which two they belong to?

No, I agree when it comes other people, but saying you just got in under the 5-page limit isn't a clue. There are 32 scripts (if all enter) coming. You think that'll be the only one that uses every last bit of it? It's not like he even hinted at a clue of which script he wrote.

You know how the OWC scripts are posted? Well, it'll be the same thing, except there will be two scripts and loglines per post instead of one. When voting is over, everyone can announce which script was theirs.

Khamanna, that's how I've been trying to explain it. That has always been a big problem of mine, but the intention was always "two scripts in the same post, no names. Vote for the best." Lol.

Off to bed. Good luck to everyone. I just reread mine and resubmitted, not going to do it again.
