Steven - How can all your votes be in? Some polls still show zero votes?

I’m quite surprised at how good some of these scripts are, considering the time constraints and relatively hard topics there are some really solid entries so far. Go team!

Unfortunately I don’t include myself in that statement and maintain mine is the worst piece of writing I have ever produced.
Was a fun challenge though. Should at the very least become an annual event I think.

Really? I could have sworn I got them all.
I also didn't see the post for the Private Prison topic. But I think that's because one entry was disqualified.
EDIT: Which poll do you see that doesn't have a vote?

Agreed. I think the rush allowed people to NOT overthink stuff and just go with their initial idea.
While I’m happy with my initial idea, thoughts on how to improve it arrived promptly on the morning after the deadline. Which I’m sure happened to all of us, so it’s a level playing field

Did I read this right on the other thread (that I can't post on,) that non competitors can vote?

There are enough threads on the board that it stretches to two pages.

Same for me. Though I kind of just wrote it and didn't think about it again. I had some additional thoughts once I read a couple of comments this morning.
All in all I'm happy with it.

Libby, I'm pretty sure any board members can vote. Vote away!)

Well, that's cool. Thanks Kham.
* I suspect it'll become obvious if it won't let me vote so I'll give it a whirl.

I'm running out of time. I have to work for 6 hours tomorrow and then try to find time to read 12 or so more entries. I also have to play chess... not just play chess but I also have to prep before the game which takes a couple of hours. The thing is, I have the same schedule until Thursday. I thought I was only playing 3 times this week, but it's 4. I had a good result tonight, I really should have won, but I was playing an expert and I made an inaccurate move that allowed him in for a repetitive check so I had to accept the draw despite being materially better. My 12-year-old son played on the board above me and checkmated a player of expert level. I'm sure you all wanted to know that... but I think I'm going to need a couple of days to get through the rest. I'm sure others must be struggling to read them all quickly too.

Have there been any posts about when voting closes, or is it just when everyone has voted? I may have missed that.
