My script 'Coma' was picked up by a production company earlier in the year and has just wrapped.
There's a website created at
http://www.comathemovie.com with some photos of the shoot on, if anyone wants to check it out.
Hoping to get a copy of the finished film soon but will probably have to hold off on posting on the web until after he's entered it in some festivals.

Stephen,
Is this what the film is based on?
Coma by Stephen Brown (stebrown) - Short, Sci Fi - The struggle to hold on to someone we have lost is a strong emotion... sometimes too strong an emotion to let go. 5 pages MoviePoet August Competition 2nd place - pdf, format
Great stuff. Congrats.

Yeah Don, that's the script it's based on. There was a small rewrite that he requested from me, based on budget mainly. The film was shot in Tampa Bay.

Looks pretty cool man. Have you seen any clips of it yet? And what was their budget? How did they manage the explosion?

Haven't seen any clips yet. The photos on the website are all I've seen so far. It's all just raw footage at the moment, waiting to be edited. Not sure what the budget was, minimum. Jack, the producer/director, and I came up with the idea of a logic bomb that basically fries the hard-drive. It meant there was no explosion, more computer based effects and flashing lights. Hopefully it came off well but will have to just wait and see. I'll give Don a shout when the film is available.

I remember this script, but I didn't know it was your script. When I think of Stebrown it is "noir" scripts that is the first thing that pops into my mind. I hope this filmmaker does as good a job on Coma as that other fillmmaker did with your alcoholic short script.

hi Ste, just read Coma for the first time. Very good job, congrats on getting it filmed. I thought it was going to be something like Total Recall at the start, but you gave it an original spin. Well done!

Thanks, feel free to leave critique on the script thread and give it a bump
I'm pretty hopeful about how the film will turn out.
