Boy that log line is so familar... Oh, that's right... It's because you stole it from the source material you're peddling off here.  It's not a wonder the link isn't working anymore.

If you're going to accuse someone of plagiarism, you should probably be more specific.

Especially seeing as you have not read the script (which isn't working because none of the new ones are).

"I SPIT ON YOUR GRAVE"  .... Want more specific? Please, you run around here like a cop on crack trying to bust balls. He's guilty of plagiarism in a log line alone... The script is probably to a T just like the movie... Why don't you brush up on your movie history instead of trying to be a keyboard commando there, jimmy...

Log line is used... Concept is used... Next please.

Read the script.  Then comment.  It's simple.

I'm aware of the film, I'm just getting tired of the growing trend in commenting on people's scripts before actually reading them.

But it doesn't really matter, as a.) the script isn't up and b.) the author isn't here.

So there ya go, chief.  I'm done.

I'll read the script when he comes up with a log line that's his own... Why would I read a script with a log line that isn't his? For all I know, it's 97 pages of stolen/familar material...  Waste of time.

I read many countless screenplays here... Countless. I have never asked for a read in return. I get e-mails all the time asking me to read their work and review it for them... Don't even try and put me into a non productive member catagory... I read my share of scripts. Good, bad, fantastic -- waste of time.

Title page = "I rest my case"

But it's more than that... Right down to the tacky "stylish" font used on the cover page to the redundant writing littered throughout the 1st 10 pages. Oh, I'm gonna finish it... principal alone. I will finish it.

Uninspired scripts seem to be the norm, though.

Way too familiar concept for me.  If you check this link out --

http://www.kogfilms.com/

there's a supposed "cover" for this movie/DVD -- it's the EXACT same cover as "I Spit On Your Grave".

On the same page, another screenplay/movie by the same writer, scared cherry, has stolen the cover for the US poster of "Wolf Creek"!

Think I'll pass this one.

I am curious to know where Kieth is at on all of this?

I visited the kogfilms site and the poster was lifted from -I spit- poster. Can you even legally do that?

Do posters have copyright protection?

Not to mention Baltis has a very, very compelling arguement that this guy is lifting the entire story as well.

where is the writer?

Shawn....><

He says right on his title page that it's an "homage" to "I Spit on Your Grave".

Now, to get the right idea of whether or not it's blatant theft, the screenplay should be read, which no one here has done.

But you probably shouldn't even waste your time because it looks like this writer just posts scripts and never communicates (he has another floating around here somewhere).

I have read "his??" script... It's word for word like the source material. He didn't write this of his own mind. I didn't comment cos there is nothing you can say to people like Keith Odett that will make him change his ways.

Keith is the kind of guy who sits around the watercooler all day hamming it up while everyone else does the work... Well, that is until the boss comes around. Then Keith is knee deep in the trenches buckin' everyone else's word and playin' the part of the go getter.

He didn't write this script.

P.S. Also, keep in mind I pegged it was "I Spit on your grave" before the link was even working. How could I have known that? It's a rip off any way you see it. I had no way of knowing the title page payed any "homage" to "ISOYG" until the link was working... Keith is classic for stealing other peoples work.
