There is a really good section on the boards about how to properly write a script. Go check it out.

Thanks for the suggestion on how to properly write a script. When I wrote this story, I didn't know too much about how it would look if it were to look like a script. I've read enough movie script over time to understand to know that's how it's supposed to look, but I chose not to format my story that way. I'm curious if anyone has read my story yet. Have any of the original stories uploaded to this site been turned into movies?

I doubt anyone is going to read your story formatted the way it is. If you know how a script is supposed to look then why not write it correctly? You can't just ignore conventional standards and expect people to look past that and want to read your work. Get the basics handled first and then work on your actual story.

Cheers,
Tim.

Hey Sam, as Trojan and Clorox both said, you need to learn how to write a screenplay, and then...actually write it that way.  Seriously...no one is going to read this the way it's written.  It may be amazing, but there's literally thousands of mistakes in this 28 page script.

Best of luck to you.

I was going to start reading this when I saw that the number of pages. It's not 28 pages, it's 64.  What's up with that?

Hi Dogglebe,

When I checked back to see if anyone read my story, I was confused to why it was listed at 28 pages, instead of 64, and it ended up in the 'Short' section instead of 'Drama'.

Because of the other responses, I wasn't sure if what I uploaded had the right amount of pages. I'll try out Final Cut Pro, or any other script writing program to reformat it properly. Once I'm done, I'll take down what I originally submitted and send the correctly formatted script. I'm completely sorry if I upset to those who responded and pointed out the misformatted outcome of my story.

Wait, I'm back. I didn't mean Final Cut Pro, I meant Final Draft Inc.
