Chris,

I'm a big fan of "Modern Family", so I was intrigued with your upload.
However, you have a 32 page script for a show that runs 21 minutes sans commercials.
I'm sorry to say that doesn't bode well for networks putting much stock in your script.
If you're a contributing member to SS, I'll give it a read anyway.

Regards,
E.D.

I guess i can vision this as an episode.  It didnt really strike me as very funny, but it's definitely pretty good.

Manny is a bit off, he's an old soul obviously, but here he seems even older.  And maybe I'm wrong, but I dont recall him ever really calling Mitchell "brother," a lot.

Not enough Cameron and Phil being funny. I guess your goal was to focus on the character from each family who gets the least of the storylines, fair enough.

Overall, it's pretty solid.

Didn't realize you could submit TV specs here, pretty cool.

I'd list my "work" here, but I don't know how to hyperlink.

"Career" Highlights
-2, count em, 2 credits on my IMDB page.
-One time a fairly prominent producer e-mailed me back.
-I have made more than $1000 with my writing!
-I've won 2 mugs... and a thong.  (polaroids of me in thong available for $10 through PM)

@vc_wg - because I crave attention

Actually, if you look up actual scripts from the show, they usually run about 31 pages long.

The Modern Family shooting scripts contain, cast pages and set list sheets.
You are still long, albeit by not as much as I originally had thought.
Are you submitting this for ABC's intern competition?

Look at the scripts on this page.  Most of them go past 30, and that's including the cast and set lists.

I already looked at those scripts.
Allow me to clarify, those shooting scripts start dialogue on page 4.
Title. Cast List. Set List, then onto dialogue.
So, you're not as long as I had originally suspected.
Just a couple pages, which will probably be considered negligible to an executive.
So long as they are not teleplay format Nazis, you should be fine.

Also, what competition is this?

Since you're a local chap and "Terriers" fan, I'll throw you a link.
