Parasite by Denver Weise - Horror - Months after the initial infection seven survivors struggle to maintain their humanity deep within Colorado Mountains. As the harsh winter approaches the group must decide to stay in seclusion or venture south to find warmer climates. - fdr, format
It's in fdr, all right, but it's not in format. Correct format, anyway.
Scenes are numbered, camera directions are included, description paragraphs are overlong (the very first one is 7 lines long), character names over dialogue are inconsistent, there's a CUT TO: after almost every scene...sorry, author, but this script is a mess.
I didn't bother reading it once I saw the state it was in -- which is the exact same reaction you'd get if you'd sent this to an agent, reader or studio. The instant they saw that first page, they'd toss this script aside without making any effort to see if the story itself is any good, because you didn't make the effort of insuring it was in correct spec script format. That's not me being a jerk; that's just the flat out truth.
Learn spec script format rules and apply them to your script. Then, when/if you re-submit it, submit it as a PDF file. Not every one has FD, but pretty much everybody has Adobe Reader (mostly because it's free).
