I was going to move this into "Shorts", as a 72 page script (which is just shy of my totally arbitrary cut-off of 75 pages).

But then I see this is in 8-point font, so we might have 100 or so pages here.

The rule is 12-point font, Mehreen -- and that is just about the only "rule" with universal agreement amongst authors that you should not break it.

Your formatting is "mostly" right, but you have missed a few key things along the way that will prevent just about anybody from reading this.

Drop us a note if you are about for a few more pointers.

Hey, it's my tiny, little IMDb!

I think a better home for it would be Drama. It's essentially a love story with family issues of drug use, abandonment and bulimia. It does have a happy ending should that put readers off. Although there is a death (as per the logline) it's mostly about the psychological and emotional issues and certainly not a Thriller. Properly formatted it would be around 80 pages.

You just pretty much gave me the entire story in the logline.

Remember the purpose of the logline, it to entice the reader, and to summarize your story or your script in about 1 - 2 sentences. That massive wall of text, discourages me from reading your script.

Anyways, I'll give the first ten pages a read and get back to you later.
