Read several pages in and it doesn't seem to offer anything new. The dialogue feels very Lucas.

Well this was really interesting! In essence, you gave Palpatine a far more pronounced role in the script, while retaining a large portion of the story as it was. It's funny the things you chose to add, like Darth Vader having an agent attend Padme's funeral. I thought it was an interesting exercise in an alternate version of the movie! The downside is that you could develop the confrontations Vader has with other Jedi a lot more, but it's not really necessary since it's not like it's gonna get made! I love Palpatine so it made for an interesting read.
