This sounds pretty good. And the poster is one of the creepiest I've ever seen.

I was also really drawn in when I saw the poster. Phenomenal cast too! I'm always up for anything A24 throws my way. A teaser trailer was just released today and it looks like this one will indeed be one to watch!

IMO the trailer is no where near as good as the creepy, simplistic poster. I'll still check this one out though.

I just saw it since I was also looking forward to it. I get the feeling it's the kind of movie critics will like but audiences will hate.

To be honest, I felt like it tried to be more than it was. I liked it as I was watching it, then it just stopped. Looks like poor word of mouth has resulted in bad box office numbers too.

Kind of felt like The Last of Us during the first half. Hell, I was almost secretly hoping it'd be an adaptation of it.

If I had to compare the feel and pacing of it to a recent film, it'd be The Witch, though I liked that a lot more.

I don't regret watching it, but it didn't do much for me either. Maybe I just built it up too much in my head.

One of the best films of 2017. I get why audiences hated it. It's the same reason they hated the Witch.

The marketing was all wrong and maybe even intentionally misleading. I've got to give credit to a studio who is willing to alienate most mainstream movie goers.

Anyways, on a technical level, this film is flawless. As for the story, I loved it. It's not about the monster that comes at night, it's about the fear and paranoia of the unknown. It's not about action. It's about atmosphere. Furthermore, It Comes At Night strikes the perfect level of ambiguity. I normally hate ambiguous films but it clearly has a purpose in this movie.

If you want Annabelle 6: The Conjuring Prequel, don't see this movie. Everyone else, rush to the theaters now while you still can. ICAN is nothing short of a masterpiece.
