Anyone else watching?

I can't wait to see what my Bengals do. Really hope they get Foster in the first round. WHO DEY!

What about you, Jeff? You want your Cardinals to go quarterback? They might.

I just started it so I'm about a half hour behind. Gonna be interesting to see what happens with these QBs.

Dalton needs some protection, and the O-Line class is thin this year. It wouldn't surprise me if they took Foster, he'll probably still be on the board when they go.

I really wanna see who takes Joe Mixon and what round he goes in.

Cardinals need a QB, tho I bet they snag one of these great corners with their first pick.

Not really watching unless the Patriots trade to get back into the first 2 rounds. The Patriots essentially addressed all their needs this year in free agency and trades. They're ready to start the season tomorrow!

True, Pats good to go. don't think they'll make any splash trades up front, but do you think they could go TE off jump? Still wondering what's up with the Burkhead, Lewis, White unit.

Leonard Fournette perfect fit for Jags, gives Bortles a better chance to bounce back. Jags had a great free agency defensively next to Baltimore, they're gonna be tough to beat.

Oh wow. Not pumped about John Ross that early. I thought they'd go OJ Howard for sure for his offensive and run-block/pass-protect.

I would never draft a RB in the first round. Never. The bust percentage is high, but even more important, the shelf life is not long for a RB. In fact, I don't even want an elite running back on my team. Because today's successful teams are built around a very "multiple" type attack. If you lean on one player, which teams with a top shelf RB often do, you become predictable, and that's the recipe for failure in the NFL.

Weird to see teams desperate for a QB pass on them in this draft. So many desperate teams, and yet they didn't seem to want what was there. Except Chicago and Houston.

I don't care how good your coach or your system is, in the NFL you're unlikely to go far without an elite QB. Denver one a Bowl with fading Manning, but Manning was still Manning as a leader, and you can't count on having a defense as good as Denver's was that year. Seattle won behind Lynch, but Wilson is a special type of leader and clutch performer. Houston made the playoffs last year behind the awful Brock Osweiller, but their division stinks and they got smoked in the playoffs.

The Patriots have found a unique approach to their unique problem. The Pats draft at the bottom every year. This means they never get a crack at the blue chip talent. Hard to have success in the NFL without at least some talent like that. So what they've been doing is trading for blue chip busts, players that were draft high a few years ago but which haven't quite worked out. The Pats trade a late pick for several players like this every year, and they see if they can get something out of the player. Some they do, some they don't. Basically this has replaced their draft. They're never going to have a shot at a Von Miller, but they get some hungry guys that want to prove themselves and who do have some talent.

While at the moment McCaffery is a RB, he's more a swiss army knife that can be motioned in slot to force defenses to play a high percentage of snaps in nickel. He's also a lethal check down option for Newton.

I wouldn't consider Fournette "elite", but he's a nice fit for a Jaguars unit that's been struggling in the backfield. He's gonna get a high volume of snaps off jump, but I don't think Yeldon or Ivory are irrelevant.

The Bears moving up to snag Trusbsky is inexcusable in my opinion, they had other issues to address and their approach is like they forgot what division they play in. The Bears failed once again to give its defense the identity it once had when it was there for the taking. Mike Glennon would've been the perfect bridge to get them to next years draft where the QB class has way more talent. That said, the only justifiable QB selection in the first round was Watson.

Cleveland is gonna surprise this year with Kizer and that rebuilt prison of an offensive line. Those boys can push and pull, it's gonna be a good year for Crowell and forces safeties to abandon their post.

Andy Dalton just got a gift over the last few days, and I believe their defense underperformed last year. The sacks could get ugly, but the weapons Dalton has now should negate for the O-Line if they don't step it up.

You never know with QBs. But Franchise QBs are priceless. and if you think he is your boy - you dont f*** around. you go get him. at all costs. its the one position that justifies such outlandish moves.

If Trubisky turns out to be a Peyton Manning - he'll pay for himself and in 5 years no one will bat an eye.

of course on the flip side; if they're wrong - it's their jobs.
