I'll agree with Hawkeye here... I like quickies. Did I pull it off... no .. hell no, but it's a good challenge to be able to craft a story that fits into any length. Any challenge that makes you work and think is a good challenge.
I have read my lot tonight... I'll finish up tomorrow at work (sneak time).
I've enjoyed several stories. None have been shockingly GREAT yet for me. But I've liked several.
Through them all now. Man I love several quickies in quick succession!
From a story aspect there was very little in the way of thinking outside the box. In fact it was only the last one I read which really impressed me in that fashion. A lot followed predictable associations with the locations/objects such a the devil, pervy priests and old folks hanging themselves.
On the plus side, writing a three page script is a tough challenge and most managed to do so admirably. Some very capable writing skills on display here. Well done to all who entered, it's difficult trying to come up with a story in such a limited time frame.
I do echo what has previously been said, there was no requirement to do exactly three pages just not over 3 pages so those who did 2.5 should not be disqualified. Similarly if you mixed both locations/objects that was also allowed but personally I steered away from that.
Looking forward to the reveal and really itching to answer some of the points raised on my script!!
