Have you read the scathing reviews?  They're true.  This is a complete and utter disaster, and it's sad, as it had so much going for it.

Martin Scorcese attached to direct, but stays on as Producer.  Michael Fassbender starring.  A best selling series of novels and a killer setting in Norway.  A mystery/horror scenario that looked so good on trailers.

What happened here?  What could possibly go so wrong?  Well how about basically everything.

There's great info on IMDB, but let me highlight 1 tidbit I found to be downright amazing - 15% or more of the script never even got shot.  What did get shot and put into the final film is just a complete mess - plot points that go nowhere - characters that have no reason to be in the film - long, drawn out scenes that end and go nowhere.  Finally, a finale that will leave you laughing, crying, or just scratching your nutsack, asking yourself WTF?

Val Kilmer is in this and his character is only seen in poorly staged and setup Flashbacks, and...get this...his dialogue is dubbed for some crazy reason.

I wanted to like this.  I really tried to like this.  What I did like was the cinematography of beautiful Norway.

If for no other reason, this is a film that should be watched and studied, as it is a true mirror of all that can go wrong in a film, from the writing, the directing, the editing, to the entire production.

Complete embarrassment for all involved.

I also wish I hadn't wasted my money on Snowman. The trailer made it look so chilling but it was so slow that I fell asleep during a few parts. Ugh. Was really pumped for this only to be let down once again.

Unfortunately I was able to tell this movie was not good from the trailer. I found it hard to believe that a snowman will be scary. And more that Michael Fassbender is attached to this. But, you make mistakes and learn from them.

Just Murdered by Sean Elwood (Zombie Sean) and Gabriel Moronta (Mr. Ripley) - (Dark Comedy, Horror) All is fair in love and war. A hopeless romantic gay man resorts to bloodshed to win the coveted position of Bridesmaid. 99 pages.

This was pretty bad. Felt very disjointed and cliche.
