I went through 10 pages of reviews and there didn’t seem to be one for this.

I’m a bit late to the party, but I don’t remember this coming out or hearing anything about it, which I don’t understand because it's brilliant. It’s a post-apocalyptic horror film done right.

There’s not one thing I didn’t like about it. It has great tension throughout and a constant feeling of dread. Joel Edgerton is fantastic and his paranoia is infectious. Solid performances form the whole cast.

Some genuinely scary bits and an ending that will leave you both satisfied and horrified.

For the horror fans, if you haven’t seen it put it at the top of the list.

You know you can do a search on the actual 'Movie, Television, DVD review' thread, right? Bottom left of the page - 'Search Board'. Saves you trawling through.

I did not know that, thanks!

It had a mention but no review.

Yeah, I really liked this too, it had me gripped throughout.

I know the ending annoyed a lot of people but I dug it, a bold choice and one that clearly came from the filmmaker's vision as opposed to some pandering studio note.

Check out Shults' first film "Krisha" too for a horror of a different kind.

I know he worked for Malick in some capacity before he made his own films but for a guy with only two writer/director credits under his belt he appears to have arrived as a nearly fully formed filmmaker.

I look forward to see what he does next.

Thanks, will do.

And yes, the bar has been set very high indeed.

Sorry to say, I was not a fan...at all.

I heard good things about this and went in expecting to like it, but it was far too dull and plodding, with very little actually going on.

I kept waiting and waiting, and nothing really ever hit me as entertaining.  And, the ending, for me, was rather weak, also.

Premise is solid, performances, good, action rather weak.  Because of that, it was quickly forgotten.

Ha, I could've written this review for you, Jeff. No surprise it wasn't your cup of tea.

My favorite tea is Sweet Tea Vodka, and I don't drink it in a cup.

I bet you'd drink it out of a dirty sock if it was sitting there long enough

I bet if you added a hot actress in her 20s, better yet, let's make it two. Some nudity, a chase through the woods, some gore, better yet, let's make it a lot of gore. A rape, two murders, and a twist ending.

Jeff would have given this movie at least a B+.

As far as my review of the film. I thought it had some good idea but it ended up feeling lackluster. In the end, I felt that it should have given me something more. It was going on an atmosphere type vibe but that wasn't enough to carry it.
