I picked this up at best buy because it was recommended by some people on GameFAQS.com and I have to say....for a cheap 80's b-movie it is a pretty good movie.

The storyline is about these robots hat are built to protect the mall at night. Though they aren't put online until a week later....a lightning storm strikes the main computer and causes their modem to scramble...causing them to kill. A group of 4 couples get together and lock themselves in the mall for an all out party fest but our soon suprised as they realize that killer robots are picking them off one by one.

The great thing about this is the teens actually use their brains a little more then the average teenagers in movies. They decide to defend themselves by breakingh into a gun shop ( which shows just how outdated this movie is.) and stocking up on guns prepared to blow the "killbots" away one by one.

The robots sort of are a mix between ED-209 on Robocop, R2-D2 and that robot on Lost in Space.

For a B-movie though....this movie has alot of giant explosions....and they actually look good too. There's very little blood in this movie except for one Head explosion which is very short nonetheless as well.

All in all this is a good movie to sit back and watch. Though it isn't very scary, the characters seem to be quite likeable and their deaths are caused by panic, confusion or just impatience.

I give it a 8/10
