I have just found out I have been accepted into Bournemouth Uni to do a Masters degree in Screenwriting, starting next month. I would normally be far too English and self-deprecating to post on the bragging board, but I'm very very excited!

Unfortunately for me (but luckily for my finances) I am not going to be in Bournemouth full time, just a couple of weeks at the start of every term. Should be long enough for at least a few wild nights out though!

2 weeks work followed by 2 weeks recovery. Even better... bigger benders, lol!

Seriously though, well done! And also congrats for 'The Temp' being picked up, what an achievement already!

;D ;D ;D all round!

Found this link, looked kinda fun - something to read about Bournemouth for you... it's not very informative but might be interesting  ;)

I made a little too much of it the first time I went to Uni, my liver is still feeling the effects!

LOL! Yeah, my liver still hasn't forgiven me yet either.

One month to go... how very exciting, let us know how you get on hon

I know, its all happened so quickly! I must admit the idea of being a 'mature' student is a little scary but I'm sure once the course starts I will love it. And if you ever fancy a girls nights out in Bournemouth let me know.

That sound great!! I'm in London, but I love the coast and wouldn't mind a trip to Bournemouth at all!

Let me know when you might want to meet up and stuff.

I have my Goonies event happening in the first week of June and then am free after that.

Sounds cool though!!

Lots of 'hot surfer dudes' there too I hear!!LOL  ;)

So we can make the girly night a day thing too right?  ;D

That's the incentive you need to get you through uni!

Hey, well done!

I applied for the screenwriting course there (not a Masters though) and got through the first stage (being selected to write a short script and send it to them), but I didn't get any further than that. My script was god awful, it really was. I look back on it now and cringe lol. So I'm not surprised. It didn't matter anyway because even if I'd got an offer it wouldn't have been my first choice. My first choice was always to do Film Studies at Exeter and that's what I'm doing now! So it's not a SAD story, just a story lol.

Well done again, you'll have to let me know what the course is like when you start!
