This place is so cool! I was wondering if there was any web sites like this one that accepted unpro. scripts or screenwriting messageboards? Anyone?

Nothing is like this one, that's why it's so good because it's got some originality. And also many sites like this one don't have the message board we do because they use it for just general chat so I mean sure you could look but good luck finding any good ones.

triggerstreet.com but that's only for the people who know what they're doing.

Hollywood: The Game...somewhat similair in the fact you'll recieve feedback on your scripts, but theres a much broader game/appeal to it. Check it out if you're interested.

If you're looking for quick reviews, Triggerstreet (previously mentioned by The Doc - watch him, he's shifty) will get you some quick reviews, but since it's kind of like a contest, they also tend to rip some things to shreds that might not be that bad.

A case in point is a script I wrote called Old Friends. Here, everyone seemed to think it was a good idea, but needed work. Over there, it was like throwing meat to a pen of hungry dogs. Most of the reviews were not only negative, but they were occasionally insulting. here were some kernels of decent info in some of them, but for the most part, I got little out of wht they had to say.

Thought I'd throw that out.

I believe Ian got some good reviews from there but me personally just went as a spy for Don (He didn't know, probably still doesn't until now) I scope out the competition even if they aren't in our league as communities go. I also watched a few short films and read a few screenplays as they require that stuff.

Conflict Scripts which is one message board I was heavily involved in for a long time, even became a mod and was working on stuff with them but the only problem I see is inconsistancy with the members. Stu (The creator) is a good guy and very active but the members just don't care to do anything but for a select few.

It's also very exclusive as to what goes up on the site, I have a full length script up. It's actually an older draft but you don't get much feedback.

Some other sites like Monster Zero is kind of a Joss Whedon fanboy club, you can talk about other material but they seem to be mainly fanfic focused.

Balt knew a few more but I've never been able to find them plus I have time for one message board and one only... this one.
