If you watch a lot of horror, maybe you've seen the original "Ghost Watcher".  It was a basement budget straight to video horror flick that was only saved by the "gee whiz look at us doing a horror movie" mentality of the cast and crew.

Not recommended, really, but not that bad, either.  I only rented it because the box suggested that it involved a creepy young girl on a farm somewhere.  (It didn't, but I need to watch anything like that  ;))

Anyways, at the video store the other day I was shocked to find that these guys had somehow secured the budget for a sequel.  In fact, it was obviously a bigger budget, and this one is good enough (just barely) to recommend to fans of the microbudget thriller.

We still have the chubby actresses that are only cute in a vague sort of way, a storyline that is just weird enough to hold your interest, the same fun attitude from the filmakers -- and you can bet that every last dime they could get their hands on is up on the screen.

You even get a little T&A this time that comes out of nowhere and provides the biggest laugh in the whole film.  It's funny.  You will laugh.

The gag reel extra is worth a watch, too, as it is amusing while only being mildly self-indulgent.

You don't need to see the original Ghost Watcher to enjoy this one, but it is really interesting to watch what these guys can do with, like, thirty bucks.

If you like these kind of films it's a pretty safe bet that it is on your video store shelf -- neglected and unrented -- right at this very moment.
