For those who watched Nickalodeon when they were in their kid years, you know what I am talking about.

And what show isn't cooler than a series of a girl (Alex) who gets covered with...nuclear waste? And ends up getting secret powers, including telekenesis, turning into goo, and shooting electricity from her fingers?

I'm telling you, this was the most awesome show in my young years and I remembered I always wanted those kind of powers. I always imagined me having electricity coming from the tips of my fingers and having things float through the air without lifting a finger (okay so maybe she moved them with her fingers sometimes, but still) and turning into a puddle and slipping under the cracks of doors. Hehe I was weird when I was little.

Anybody else remember this show? It would be cool if they could play it again, just so I can have my childhood memories back.

Sean

P.S> Sorry if someone has already reviewed over this TV show.

I'm laughing at the rediculous Nickelodeon shows that they are playing today. Zoey 101, Drake and Josh, Unfabulous...I think it's just trying to ripoff the more popular shows on the Disneychannel network.

But yeah, The Secret World Of Alex Mack, Clarrisa Explains It All, and the others are ten times better than what they are playing on their network today.

LEGENDS OF THE HIDDEN TEMPLE.  Best show ever.

Alex Mack was an awesome show too.

It was all about Rocko's Modern Life and Doug.

Hey, Dude and Salute Your Shorts rocked too!

I don't seem to remember Legends of the Hidden Temple (though it does sound familiar), but Clarissa Explains it all and the old All That were hilarious!

But yeah, Drake and Josh, Zoey 101, Ned's Declassified...WTF?

Oh man this is causing some nostalgia.

The summers on Nickelodeon were awesome.  Esepcially when that popsicle stick was the host haha.

Hey Dude, Salute Your Shorts, Are you afraid of the dark, Legends of the hidden temple.  Greatest shows ever.

Wait - wait, wasn't there are reality show playing in 2003, about three girls and three boys going to a summercamp to solve the mystery of a death and they have to go through these obsticals?

You guys are forgetting the gods of all Nicktoons and, perhaps, Nickelodeon itself: Ren And Stimpy.

Ah, those were the days. Nothing better than classic Nickelodeon. I used to stay up late on Saturdays to watch Ren And Stimpy and Are You Afraid Of The Dark. Rocko's Modern Life was another great. I remember last year sometime, they were playing all the classic shows for Nick's fifteenth aniversary or something. That was cool.

And whatever happened to "Figure it Out"? That was a great show.

Sean

Great, now I want to go back in time to watch these shows...

It was like the kids version of Tales From the Crypt.

Lol maybe if you look hard enough on Amazon.com or ebay, you might find some episodes of Are You Afraid of the Dark. Man that was the best show. I remember they had their 1-hour long movie. My favorite episode was...

SPOILERS (If anyone can even remember)

When that guy and girl worked at the movie theater and they played the movie with the Nosferatu vampire and Nosferatu actually came out of the movie screen and began chasing them around. Boy did that scare me! That episode, scaring ME!? And it was so suspenseful! Lol...

The tv-movie they made was awesome too.

It's a shame what today's youth is being subjected to on Nickelodeon.  I remember there was Nick in the Afternoon with Stick Stickely.  That's when they played classic cartoons like Bugs Bunny and Sylvester and company.

Let's see here.

Game Shows: Double Dare, Family Double Dare, even Double Dare 2000.  Legends of the Hidden Temple was great.  GUTS.  Figure it Out was alright to a certain point.  Nick Arcade! What Would You Do? Wild and Crazy Kids...

Cartoons: Rugrats before they got all crappy.  Doug, Ren and Stimpy, Rocko, Kablam, Hey Arnold, Ahhh Real Monsters, Angry Beavers.

Comedies: Salute Your Shorts, Hey Dude, The Adventures of Pete&Pete, All That(the first 5 years), Kenan&Kel...

Then you had Are You Afraid of the Dark?  Man...that was such a great show.  Scary but it was specifically made for kids.  That's also when Nick at Nite had good shows like Wonder Years, the Jeffersons, and the Brady Bunch and then early in the morning you could catch more classic cartoons like Rocky and Bullwinkle.

Man...I miss those years!!!!  We had it good!

Man, we all need to get together and find a way to build a time machine so we can go back and watch the shows. But the problem is that we may not enjoy them like we used to... :'(

Every once in a while my friends and I will get into a HUGE discussion about lost Nick shows. Those were the good ol' days of good kid's T.V. My kid sister has been brainwashed by Nickelodeon since then, poor kid. My favorites were Legends of the Hidden Temple, Are you Afraid of the Dark?, Clarissa Explains it All, Salute Your Shorts and pretty much everything except Double Dare and Figure it Out. If they put all those good shows on DVD, I'd bet they'd sell like hotcakes. I wish.

Alex Mack and Doug were a big part of what I used to love in my early years, Doug of course is high and above everything else and none of these shows will ever be released on DVD because well the people who own the rights frankly are idiots.

I also remember "Are You Afraid of The Dark?" which when it was on was scary (I was young at the time) and they still replay old episodes on Family here in Canada.

I remember most of those shows with fond memories, especially Alex Mack and AYFOTD. The title credits of AYFOTD where they showed the empty playground at night was suitably spooky.

Now all we have are shows lik Spongebob Squarepants, Fairly Odd Parents and Ned's Newt

Hey wait a second I love those shows too.

Spongebob and Fairly Oddparents are the only good shows on Nick now. Or at least I think they are.
