Heretic referred me towards Bride with White Hair, naturally I thought that part 2 would be good but boy was I wrong. Luckily it only cost 9.99 CAD.

For ten years, Cho has been in the snow of Mount Shin Fung waiting for a rare flower to blossom that will cure his wife who, back in Chung Yuan, is slowly killing all of the members of the Eight Big Clans. Something Cho did to her early in their marriage has turned her hair white and driven her mad. Cho's nephew, Kit, marries Lyre; they are deeply in love. On their wedding night, Ni-Chang, the bride with white hair, kidnaps Lyre and takes her to her harem of fighting women to indoctrinate her against Kit. Kit tries to lead a rescue party, but they are up against formidable opponents. Can Cho come in time with the blossom to soften Ni-Chang's heart?

So the only real problem I have with this film is the fact that her hair extended and kills people in crazy and sometimes odd way, it just forces me to say what were they thinking? The answer of course is simply everything has already been done so they added a new spin but this was strange.

I enjoyed the love story that was at its core but the bride if you will was stupid. I’m sorry I cannot say watch this film or even say it has any entertainment value compared to the other foreign films that are so, so much better.

Immortal, High Tension, Ong Bak, House of Flying Daggers, Hero, Crouching Tiger (Both versions) The Once Upon a Time In China trilogy and so many others that have entertainment value in them for whatever reason.

This is however the first Foreign film I’ve had the displeasure of watching.

I’ve been buying old Hong Kong films that are produced by Tai Seng Entertainment which releases them with Ric Meyers commentary, I love listening to this guy speak of the culture and his vast knowledge of the art forms and actors in the films.

Don’t but this film, don’t rent it, and don’t even think about it after this review as it’s just terrible.
