Our computer stuffed the other day, and my dad's friend came over and fixed it (big nerd) Any way, to fix it he had to delete all unimportant files (one of them had been corrupted or somehting, so ifh e dleted them all he would have gotten rid of it). Unforutanetlely, i forgot to tell him not tto delte my script.

But he did. SIXTY PAGES DOWN THE DRAIN!!!!

I guess it's a good escuse for a rewrite.

It's one of those SimplyScripts mystery's, basically it means that you like 747 are just spending all this time hyping it up just to say it was somehow deleted.

Not that you are but that's the legacy 747 left.

I recently re-read every post about 747 (I dunno, for fun), and that drama is a story in and of itself. Actually kind of funny, when you put it all together. There are actually two threads in the WIP board.

Same here! My computer has screwed up and won't turn on after a power outage and we need to get it fixed and I am afraid all my scripts are going to get deleted in the process! I hope not...

I zip all my files and send them to my e mail every week or so as to keep a "backup" since I don't have a 3 inch floppy drive.

The good thing is, though, that I am able to get most of my scripts off of this website since almost all of the ones I made have been sent into here.

I have all of my scripts uploaded to an email site, and saved to a hard drive other than the drive with all the system files. Nothing else exists on this drive except files. This way, if my computer crashes, I simply pull out the storage drive and send it in, losing nothing.

I also have my completed scripts uploaded to another server so even if Simply is down, I can still have at them. I have a lot of stuff in a lot of places, and I'm luck y to keep track of it...but I'll never lose it.

Sorry, Bigwhoop. I hope it never happen with my computer, but if so, well I hope to continue writing more scripts than I had written before.
