Anyone read his books, like The Foundation series or I, Robot?

I've just started getting into this sci-fi genre and wouldn't mind knowing what books to start off with.  I finished off The Foundation and couldn't believe Asimov's wrirting for the time he wrote it in (1950s I think).

If you read Sci-Fi or Fantasy tell me about the best books to start off with because I'm finding it difficult to find something.

If your interested in Sci Fi then here's some links on wikipedia.org which you may find useful..

The above are considered the big three..

Another writer who created an amazing Sci Fi story is Frank Herbert with his Dune series..

You can't go wrong referencing this stuff.. The above authors can be considered the best in this genre, and their work ranks the highest with other writers and screenwriters.. Their stories have probably made the most famous movies in this genre too..

Wonderful stuff..

I've been into Sci-fi forever, I don't know what's good reading for Asimov. But I think Heinlein kicks a**! To start with his work, you mite want to try " The Green Hills Of Earth ", or " Glory Road ".
