Nacho Libre wasn’t as funny as I thought it was going to be.

When I went in, I expected something as random and stupid as Napoleon Dynamite; and that’s what I got. But it just didn’t seem as random and stupid.

Jack Black was perfect for this role. He’s naturally a funny actor, so he fits right into this role. And going from a film like King Kong to a film like this must be like trying to clean six nasty houses to cleaning one bedroom.

The story to this film was thin but funny. It had its moments when you felt like “Come on and get it over with!” but they were few.

Overall, this was a pretty good movie and will be liked by all who found Napoleon Dynamite funny. If you are one of those people, go see this movie! If you aren’t, wait for the DVD.

I think Napoleon Dynamite was just a one hit wonder for that kind of genre.  Alot of people liked it because it was jus that; random and stupid.  Then the filmmakers come back and try to give us something a little more and it's just not as original as Napoleon was.  Jack Black looks pretty funny in it, but the film itself doesn't look like much.  I'll see it some day though.

I thought this movie was way better than napolean dynamite. jack black could make any script hilarious. I'd give it 4 stars.

I found NAcho Libre to be a bit to low for Jack Black I think he could have mad it a lot funnier but he acted good on that terrible script. Mike White i think it was who wrote it did a terrible job. Terrible. If you know your working with Jack Black write it for Jack Black. All though the movie had its high points it still did very little for me.

aside from a few funny moments (usually Jack Black getting his tail kicked in the ring) the movie was just dull.  I also kept hoping it would end faster than it did.  overall a so so movie but not worth going to the theater to see.  :'(
