Muse?

I looked through the thread in this board, forgot what it was called but it was to do with the best bands around. I only saw one other person out of quite a few who mentioned Muse including myself so I thought this thread would be pointless.

But then I thought, if anyone hasn't heard this band before or didn't like their sound, give them a try or another try. They're simply the most unique band alive right now and their songs are stunning everytime you hear them. Black Holes & Revelations being their newest album.

It came out in the US on the 11th of July and the 3rd in UK but got my hands on it on my birthday, July 10th. It is one of the greatest albums I've heard in my life and yes, I've only been alive for 19 years and certainly didn't give much appreciation or dedictation to the sounds of music until a few years back but I do know what I'm hearing. Black Holes & Revelations is bliss. A mixture of rock, drum and bass, every tune is surely different and if you like this sort of thing, you'll either fall in love with it or you'll, well, you'll fall in love with it I guess.  :P

If no one has heard of Muse or/and has yet to hear them, please, I recommend that you do. When I first heard them it took me longer than one listen to get to grips with the new sounds I was hearing but I'm so glad I gave them the chance. It was well worth it.

Their new video is Supermassive Black Hole and I think they're bringing out Starlight as well. So stick your radio on or check them out with any other means. You wont regret it. Well, you might but I can't talk for everybody.  ;D

You can listen to them here:

Have a listen if you feel like it.  :D

Thanks for reading...  :)

I've tried really hard to like Muse.  Somehow, they are constatnly dissapointing me.  The last one was Muse lite, the two before that were spectacular.  I think I'll check out the page and let you know.

For interested listeners, start with their album "Origin Of Symmetry", simply amazing.
They're super live too.

Muse are fantastic and I can't wait to see them when they hit Vancouver. Black Holes and Revelations is their best CD yet, more upbeat with a slice of synths thrown in - but the album flows flawlessly.

They rock!

So true, so true. Every album they've made is flawless but BH&R is... unbelievably flawless.

And I wan't to see them. I'm going to check their website soon to see their tour dates. They really do rock though!
